These limits are product and subscription features and may change over time.
- Information that is no longer necessary for the purposes described above may be deleted or anonymized, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements.
9. Account and Care Group Deletion
CareTogether distinguishes between an Owner’s personal account and the care group managed by that Owner.
9.1 Care Group Deletion
The Owner is responsible for managing and deleting their care group and its associated data through available in-app functionality before requesting deletion of the Owner’s personal account. Deleting the Owner’s personal account does not automatically delete the care group or its data. If the Owner wants the care group and its associated data to be deleted, the Owner must first use the available in-app functionality to delete the care group and associated data.
9.2 Owner Account Deletion
After the Owner has completed any required care group deletion process, the Owner may request deletion of their personal account. Upon completion of the account deletion process, we will delete the Owner’s personal account and associated authentication information, subject to applicable legal requirements; legitimate security and fraud-prevention requirements; information that must be retained for legal or regulatory purposes; and information that has been irreversibly anonymized. The deletion of an Owner’s personal account does not, by itself, constitute deletion of care group data.
9.3 Other Participants
Other participants may be able to remove themselves or delete their accounts through available in-app functionality. The effect of removing a participant from a care group may depend on the Service’s current functionality. Information belonging to a care group may remain available to other authorized participants unless the information or care group is deleted through the applicable functionality.
9.4 External Account Deletion Requests
If required by applicable law or app-store policy, CareTogether will provide an external method for users to request account deletion. Deletion requests may be submitted by email to service@sk5s.com. Any applicable prerequisites for deletion will be clearly explained as part of the deletion process.
10. Subscription Downgrades and Disabled Participants
An Owner’s subscription determines the maximum number of Care Recipients and family members that may be active within the Owner’s care groups. If an Owner downgrades to a subscription tier with lower capacity, the Owner may select within the Service which Care Recipients and family members should remain active within the new subscription limits. Participants not selected by the Owner may be marked as disabled.
Disabled participants are not necessarily deleted. Subject to the applicable subscription limits, the Owner may later choose to enable a previously disabled Care Recipient or family member. The Owner is responsible for managing participant status after a subscription downgrade.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials and protecting invitation information or codes from unauthorized persons.
12. International Data Transfers
CareTogether is primarily intended for users in Taiwan but may be accessible to users in other countries. Our third-party service providers may operate infrastructure or process information in countries other than the country where you live. By using CareTogether, you understand that information may be processed in locations outside your country of residence, subject to applicable law and the safeguards provided by applicable service providers.
13. Children’s Privacy
CareTogether is intended for adults, families, caregivers, and care recipients. The Service is not directed to children under the age at which they may lawfully consent to the processing of personal information under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us inappropriately, please contact service@sk5s.com.

- Request access to personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of personal information
- Request restriction of certain processing
- Object to certain processing

- These rights may be subject to limitations and exceptions under applicable law. To exercise a privacy right, contact service@sk5s.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
